The Takahashi Effect

In 2005 I bought a used PlayStation 2 for $80 in order to play Katamari Damacy, which cost $20. (It was an excellent purchase.)
Now Katamari-creator Keita Takahashi’s new game Noby Noby Boy is out, and I wish I had a PS3 to play it on. PS3 consoles run about $400; Noby Noby Boy is $5.
Extrapolating from this trend, I predict that in 2013 I will be saving up to buy a PlayStation 4 for $2000 in order to play a Takahashi game that costs $1.25.
