It does what now?
Pownce is great, but currently the public profile RSS feed does not include the URLs of links posted—just the note bodies. I really wanted to be able to share my links via RSS, so I used the API and Rails to create a little web app: Ounce. Ounce generates a new RSS feed that includes links.
Nice! Does it do anything else?
When possible, Ounce will display photos and videos inline, just like Pownce. Due to limitations (and possibly bugs) in the API, this doesn't work for all images. Currently, YouTube is the only supported video site.
Ounce will also generate an Atom feed containing public notes sent from your Pownce friends and people of whom you are a fan. It can be a lot more convenient than subscribing to each of their feeds individually!
